Chatsworth High’s defense set up two touchdowns and stopped a late drive as the Chancellors held on for a 21-19 victory over previously unbeaten Huntington Park in a City Section 3-A Division quarterfinal Wednesday night at Huntington Park.

After Huntington Park (10-1-1) scored to cut Chatsworth’s lead to 21-19 on Albert Saldana’s two-yard run with five minutes to play, the Spartans faked a conversion kick. But Brian Comer intercepted a pass by Saldana to protect the lead.

Three minutes later, Chatsworth stopped the Spartans at the Chancellor 41-yard line when defensive back Lamonte Carroll intercepted a pass. Chatsworth then ran out the clock.
