John E. Bryson, chairman and chief executive of SCEcorp, and William Stinehart Jr., a partner with the law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, have been named directors of Times Mirror Co., publisher of The Times.
Bryson, 48, is also chairman of SCEcorp’s principal subsidiary, Southern California Edison Co. Stinehart, 48, is co-managing partner of Gibson, Dunn’s Century City office. The appointments raise the number of directors to 18 from 16.
