Indianapolis Superior Court Judge Patricia J. Gifford refused to push back the Jan. 27 start of Mike Tyson’s rape trial after hearing the defense contend that it needed more time to prepare its case. Prosecutors countered that Tyson wanted the delay so he could fight heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield before going on trial.
