Glassell Park : Youth’s Killing Investigated
Los Angeles police investigators were questioning residents in a Glassell Park neighborhood this week, seeking clues in the beating death of a teen-age day laborer.
Detective Ron Whitt said the body of Mario Cordoba, 17, was found Friday morning between two apartment buildings in the 3400 block of Chapman Street.
Cordoba, who lived in the neighborhood, apparently was fatally beaten the previous night.
