BRUTAL PROSE: Robert Peters, a poet and UCI English professor, will give diners at the Las Palmas restaurant in Santa Ana something strong to chew on. At a literature program there Jan. 6, he will read from his book, due out in March, about county killer Randy Kraft, now on Death Row. . . . It’s called “Snapshots for a Serial Killer,” because Kraft photographed many victims in death. “Some might walk out,” Peters acknowledges. “It’s quite disturbing.”
