A Premiere Deal: Premiere magazine has joined forces with the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences to help preserve the history of film. The magazine will contribute 5% of its net advertising revenue from the Academy Awards issue in April to the Academy’s new Center for Motion Picture Study in Beverly Hills. In return, the magazine will be able to use the academy’s trademark in promoting the April issue.
