The first wave of potential jurors called for boxer Mike Tyson’s rape trial was handed lists of 78 questions, which included: “Have you ever been a member of the National Organization for Women or other groups interested in women’s issues?”
Court observers said the questionnaire was more extensive than those normally sent to potential jurors in criminal cases.
The former heavyweight champion was charged with rape and three other sexual-related crimes stemming from an alleged assault on an 18-year-old Miss Black America contestant last July 19 in Indianapolis.
