Kaiser Sunset Hospital of Los Angeles has donated $37,000 to the nursing program at Pasadena City College.
The money will be used in the career ladder program, in which licensed vocational nurses can progress toward the registered nurses program, said Lois Lynn, dean of nursing.
PCC uses Kaiser as a clinical site for its students, and Kaiser nurses enroll at PCC for further training.
