Jaclyn Smith, Actress?

I want to start by thanking Rosenberg for the continuous brutal honesty of his column. He is one reporter, of any medium, that I respect and admire.

I do admit that at first I was a little baffled by his assault on Smith, but now it’s all coming together. Do you think maybe he was saying something about the industry and how it is progressively becoming more mediocre?

Rosenberg was saying that ours is a land that has lost its way, that we no longer know how to think or feel on our own, that we are sinking deeper and deeper into a state of neutrality and that Smith is simply a reflection of that.

If Smith is the consummate professional that she has been made out to be by her support team, then she should have no problem with all this. She knows the peaks and valleys of the business and should be laughing all the way to the bank. But if, by chance, she is enraged and upset by all this fuss, then I want to see it in her performance in her next movie.
