PREP NOTES

Buena Park offensive lineman Gavin Molinar said Monday he has orally committed to the University of the Pacific and will sign a letter of intent with the Tigers on Wednesday.

Molinar, 6 feet 4 and 240 pounds, chose Pacific after visiting the campus last weekend. He also had visited Utah State and canceled a trip to Weber State.

Molinar, who has met the NCAA academic requirements for freshman eligibility, said he plans to study physical therapy.
