A suspected drunk driver crashed into another auto in Canoga Park, killing a 21-year-old Van Nuys man, Los Angeles police said Thursday.

The man, whose name was not released pending notification of relatives, was pronounced dead about 2 a.m. Thursday at Northridge Hospital Medical Center about three hours after the accident at Parthenia Street and De Soto Avenue, Officer Bill Mulvihill said.

Charles Fellegi, 61, of Canoga Park was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and drunk driving but was allowed to remain at Holy Cross Hospital because of his injuries, which included a large facial cut, Mulvihill said.
