Beric Schwartzhaupt of Hanau, Germany, was arrested in San Diego as authorities seized 12 kilograms of pure steroid worth $1.9 million, officials said.
Schwartzhaupt will be charged with importing and distributing a controlled substance, California Attorney General Dan Lungren said.
