Florida senior Michelle Freeman set a world record in the 55-meter hurdles at the Southeastern Conference Indoor Championships at Gainesville, Fla. Freeman, from Kingston, Jamaica, had a time of 7.34 seconds to break the world mark of 7.36 seconds set in 1983 by Stephanie Hightower.
