Pedestrian Hit by Trolley Dies
A 55-year-old Encanto barber died late Saturday night when he stepped in front of an eastbound San Diego Trolley in the 6600 block of Imperial Avenue, police said.
The man was identified as Hurrclees Kendall of the 1400 block of Hilger Street, according to medical examiner’s investigator Charles Kelley. Police said Kendall ignored a pedestrian stop signal at the trolley tracks. The trolley was traveling between 30 and 40 m.p.h. at the time of the accident.
