Man Arrested After 2 Die in Party Brawl
A Lancaster man was arrested on suspicion of murder after a brawl at a Palmdale party where two men died from stab wounds and another was injured, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said Sunday.
Thomas Joseph Yackley, 22, was being held without bail at the Antelope Valley sheriff’s station after his arrest Saturday, Deputy Larry Mead said.
The fight erupted at 4 a.m. as departing guests began arguing outside the residence in the 39000 block of 8th Street East, Mead said.
Michael James Gamble, 24, of Palmdale and David Joseph Spragno, 22, of Lancaster died at the scene.
A third man, Glenn William McCarty, 29, of Quartz Hill, suffered stab wounds, Mead said. He was treated at Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center in Lancaster and released, he said.
