COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Chapman Routs Southern Utah in Baseball, 18-1
Chapman scored 14 runs in the third inning and went on to an 18-1 victory over Southern Utah in a nonconference baseball game Sunday at Hart Park in Orange.
Jason White had a hit and drove in four runs for Chapman. Cliff Anderson had three hits and three RBIs and Chris Brions had two hits and three RBIs for the Panthers. Brions and Anderson had home runs for Chapman.
In another nonconference game:
UCLA 5, UC Irvine 4--The host Bruins (8-4) scored a run in the seventh to break a 4-4 tie. Irvine (7-4) had defeated UCLA, 5-2, Saturday.
