Two men were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder Tuesday morning in the stabbing of a Long Beach man after a fight that spilled from a dance floor to a parking lot, police said Tuesday.

Noah Jason Poe, 22, was in stable condition at UCI Medical Center in Orange with a stab wound to the abdomen, police said.

Meanwhile, Todd Hamilton, 21, of El Toro and Gregory Doremus, 20, of Mission Viejo were held in Huntington Beach City Jail. Hamilton was arrested on a second charge, an outstanding warrant from Los Angeles County for trespassing, police said.

Poe, Hamilton and Doremus were at the Crazy Burro Restaurant on Adams Avene late Monday slam dancing, an aggressive dance style that often mixes jumping and slamming into other dancers.

On the dance floor, Poe began fighting with the other two, and all three were evicted. The fight continued in the parking lot, where Poe was stabbed about 11:40 p.m. Monday, Lt. Ed McErlain said. Hamilton and Doremus fled. Witnesses described their car, and the arrests followed.
