Rambling Back in View: New Line Cinema will support the grass-roots Oscar campaign for “Rambling Rose” by re-releasing the film in the Los Angeles area Wednesday to make it more accessible to Oscar voters. “Rose” earned unprecedented Academy Award acting nominations for a mother and daughter--Diane Ladd and Laura Dern--in the same year, but does not have the backing of a major studio to conduct a high-profile Oscar publicity campaign.
