SAN DIEGO : Kidnaping Foiled as Victim Leaps From Car
Authorities arrested three suspects in the kidnaping of a San Diego motorist early Saturday.
San Diego police said the three unidentified suspects, two adult males and a juvenile, forced their way into the car of an unnamed motorist at an undisclosed location in the city.
After threatening the victim with a knife, they forced him to drive south toward National City.
While en route, they stole several of his possessions.
At the intersection of 4th and G streets in Chula Vista, the motorist reportedly jumped from the car and summoned two police officers nearby.
The three suspects were arrested a short time later.
