COUNTY ALL-STAR FOOTBALL GAME : Five Valencia Players Lead Nominations

Five members of Valencia High School’s Southern Section Division I championship team head the list of nominations for the North team for the 27th Orange County All-Star football game, which is scheduled July 10 at Orange Coast College’s LeBard Stadium.

Garden Grove, which won 10 consecutive games for the first time in the school’s history, nominated six players for the team. Jeff Buenafe of Garden Grove will coach the North team.

Buenafe will select players from each team. The selections will be announced next Saturday.
