Martina Navratilova and Nathalie Tauziat each won two matches to reach the final of the rain-plagued U.S. Women’s Hardcourts Championships at San Antonio.
Navratilova defeated Raffaella Reggi-Concato of Italy, 6-0, 6-1, in the quarterfinals, then eliminated Pam Shriver, 6-4, 6-3. France’s Tauziat knocked out Eugenia Maniokova of Russia, 7-6 (7-2), 6-4, and Amy Frazier, 4-6, 7-6 (9-7), 6-4.
