In three separate incidents, shots were fired at motorists on Orange County freeways late Friday and early Saturday, the California Highway Patrol reported. No one was hurt, and the reasons for the shootings are unknown.

No motorist saw a shooter in any of the incidents, which occurred on the Garden Grove, Costa Mesa and Santa Ana freeways. In each instance, a single shot struck part of the automobile, and the drivers did not see where the shots came from, CHP officers reported.
