Father’s Car Runs Over, Kills Toddler
A 19-month-old North Hollywood girl was killed Sunday when she was run over by her father’s car as he backed out of their driveway, authorities said.
The toddler was struck about 2 p.m. when her father reversed his car in the 7500 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, Los Angeles Police Officer Bill Mulvihill said.
The youngster was taken to Pacifica Hospital of the Valley in Sun Valley, where she died shortly before 4 p.m., Mulvihill said.
No citation was issued pending an investigation, he said.
