Davis and Strawberry Stick Together--Even on the Disabled List
What’s wrong with baseball? Not much except, lack of direction--a commissioner and staff with more concern for their egos than the proper supervision and decision-making for the good of the game. Consider:
* Expansion--granting franchises to two more cities when existing teams are forced to pay exorbitant salaries to less than adequate players.
* Shoddy official scorers--crediting these inadequate players with hits, therefore protecting inadequate players from errors. This makes for inaccurate batting averages and totally takes away from Gold Glove Awards.
* Spoiled stars--many of them telling the manager when they will play and management for whom they will play.
