Warrant Is Issued for Slaying Suspect
An arrest warrant has been issued for a man suspected of fatally shooting an Orange man in a bar last month, police said Wednesday.
Based on witnesses and physical evidence at the scene, police allege that Arturo Balderas, 24, shot Guadalupe Chavez, 20, at the Los Vacitos Bar at 223 W. Chapman Ave. on May 19.
Balderas, also known as Arturo Balderas Gonzalez, is described as 5-foot-10 and 154 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. His last address was on North Holly Street, police said.
Balderas is considered armed and dangerous, police said.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for Balderas in Central Municipal Court in Santa Ana, said Orange Police Lt. Trey Sirks.
