$16 Bet Produces a Record Hollywood Park Pick Six Payoff
A single ticket, purchased for $16 at the satelite wagering site in San Bernardino, was worth a track record $619,799 Thursday in Hollywood Park’s Pick Six of races four through nine.
The previous record payoff on Hollywood Park’s Pick Six was $489,659.40 on May 26, 1990.
There were 51 tickets that had five of six correct picks, and they were worth $6,429 each.
This is Southern California’s second-highest payoff on the Pick Six. In 1986, Santa Anita paid out $976,229.60 on a single ticket. The staterecord of $1,074,405.80 was set at Golden Gate Fields in May 1991.
