5 Pomona Students Win Rotary Scholarships

The Pomona Rotary Club has given $600 scholarships to five outstanding graduating seniors of Pomona high schools.

They are Laura Lopez, Ganesha High School, who will attend Mount St. Mary’s College; Jennifer Yacawyc, Garey High, Mount St. Mary’s; Darilyn McLeod, Park West High, Southern University in Baton Rouge, La.; Kristi Picken, Pomona High, Cal State San Bernardino, and Melissa Brown, Pomona Catholic, Cal Poly Pomona.
