Glendora : $37.4-Million Budget Passes
The City Council on Tuesday approved a 1992-93 combined city/Community Redevelopment Agency budget of $37.4 million, up more than $2 million from the previous year’s budget of $35.07 million.
Finance Director Larry Schroeder said the major change is approval for the city to spend $1 million to buy and develop a site for bus parking and maintenance.
City Manager Art Cook added that the budget does not reflect the possibility that the city could lose as much as $2.25 million in vehicle license fees and property tax revenues, depending on actions by the Legislature as the state attempts to balance its own budget.
