The Chicago Bulls don’t know if they will be invited back to the White House after winning their second consecutive NBA title, and they aren’t sure they will go even if they are asked.
Guard Michael Jordan and teammate Scottie Pippen probably will be training for the U.S. Olympic basketball team and other Bulls also have commitments. Jordan was criticized last year for not joining the team to meet President Bush after Chicago won its first NBA title. At the time, Jordan said a vacation scheduled with his family took precedence.
