The NCAA Presidents Commission will propose a four-point program next January that would strengthen presidential control of the NCAA, commission chairman Gregory O’Brien said.

“Presidents feel they’ve got to have input,” O’Brien said during a news conference. “But if you’re going to be responsible for the decisions that someone makes as delegated from you, it’s got to be somebody you support. If not, the individual and the president and the institution will fail.”
