Is Killing a Good Idea for the Outdoor Page?

I’m sorry that Paul Mecke was bitten by a rattlesnake and glad he is recovering, but when I read that he wears snakeskin hatbands and belts, I felt that perhaps revenge does exist in the wild kingdom. He was a visitor in the snake’s habitat, and he molested an animal that was not threatening him in any way.

It’s time Rich Roberts and the Wednesday sports section editors realize that there is a whole other contingent of people who love the outdoors, but do it without killing animals.
