The chamber awarded the honors to Alamillo, principal of Las Posas School, and Kish, co-chairwoman of the Miss Camarillo Scholarship Pageant, last week at the annual chamber dinner. Six other people and two organizations were also honored.

Alamillo, a member of the Pleasant Valley Lions Club for 35 years, has hauled books for the Friends of the Library for about 20 years and has just completed a decade’s service with the Ventura County Juvenile Justice Commission.
