PRO FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : RAIDERS

Running back Eric Dickerson, back in his native state, said he’s more concerned about team goals than personal glory.

“I just want a chance to make it (to the Super Bowl),” said Dickerson, who took a cut in pay to join the Raiders. “At this stage of my career, that’s all I can ask for.”

Dickerson, who played at Southern Methodist, was a crowd favorite. After practice, he was mobbed by kids wanting his autograph.

“I’m not hung up on starting,” he said. “I’ve started before. I’ve had big numbers. I’ve had the great games. If I come off the bench, that’s fine.”
