Man, 37, Is Slain After Argument
A 37-year-old man was shot to death in Quartz Hill early Sunday after an argument with a friend, authorities said.
The man, a visitor from out of state whose identity was withheld pending notification of relatives, was apparently visiting an acquaintance in the 43000 block of 42nd Street West when he was shot about 2:10 a.m. after an argument, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Irma Becerra said.
The man died from a single gunshot wound to the chest, Becerra said. No arrests have been made.
