Herschel Walker had four carries for minus-1 yard in his Eagle debut.

Scott Mitchell, filling in for Dan Marino, passed for 227 yards and one touchdown to lead the Miami Dolphins to a 22-21 victory over the Washington Redskins at Orlando, Fla. . . . Lorenzo White scored on a three-yard run and a 23-yard pass play from Warren Moon in the Houston Oilers’ 34-23 victory over the Dallas Cowboys at Tokyo.
