Three armed robbers tied up New England Patriot wide receiver Hart Lee Dykes and five other people before ransacking the football player’s home in a Houston suburb, police said. The robbers also stole Dykes’ 1990 BMW, which was recovered the next morning.
Dykes had returned to Houston because of a training camp injury. He and his guests were bound with telephone cords and wire but were not injured. The guests included Dykes’ brother, two friends, Dykes’ 6-year-old son and a maid.
