The hearing on the grievance filed on behalf of pitcher Bill Landrum against the Montreal Expos will continue Tuesday in New York before arbitrator George Nicolau. Landrum, who had a 7.17 ERA with Montreal and was demoted to their triple-A farm team at Indianapolis, contends he was injured when he was sent to the American Assn. team and asked the Major League Baseball Players Assn. to file a grievance. Injured players may not be demoted.

This is the second grievance Landrum has filed this year. The first came after the right-hander was released by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the spring. Landrum contends the club cut him to avoid paying his $1.7-million salary. A hearing has yet to be heard on that grievance.
