Injury Postpones Stadium Concert

Friday’s San Diego Jack Murphy Stadium show, featuring Guns N’ Roses, Metallica and Faith No More, has been postponed. Last weekend, Metallica vocalist-guitarist James Hetfield suffered serious burns on one hand after an onstage pyrotechnic effect misfired.

Promoter Avalon Attractions is negotiating with the stadium, the Padres and, now, the Chargers for a new date. A rescheduling announcement is forthcoming, and ticketholders are encouraged to hold onto their tickets.
