As a lifelong Celtic fan, I’ve marveled at the incredible feats of Larry Bird and wondered what my team did to be blessed with a player of such unequaled skills.
As a Southern Californian, I can’t help but wonder what we did to be cursed with Mike Downey as a sports columnist.
Naw, on second thought, Mike, you’re right. Earl Monroe was better than Larry Bird. And so was your good buddy, Isiah.
