Claremont : Session on Budget Cuts
Sale of city assets, staff salary cuts and utility taxes are among the options city officials will discuss at a special meeting on state budget cuts.
City Manager Glenn Southard estimated that Claremont faces a $600,000 to $800,000 deficit this year because of the state cuts. That figure could jump to $1.2 million next year.
The public study session is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday. Call City Hall at (714) 399-5497 for the location.
