The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between Aug . 31 and Sept . 6: Glendale Thompson Avenue, 1000 block--An unoccupied house was burglarized between Aug. 29 and Sept. 5, and 1,000 books, indoor lights, a blueprint machine, other small items and $50 cash, valued together at, $7,750 were reported stolen. West Colorado Street, 100 block--A man counting his money at a restaurant table reported that a man snatched $440 cash and his identification card at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 2. North Jackson Street, 100 block--Burglars picked the lock of a business and stole two telephones, a fax machine and a copier, valued together at more than $1,945, on Sept. 3. South Glendale Avenue, 1100 block--A man robbed a convenience store clerk at gunpoint of $30 cash at 3:26 a.m. Sept. 4. West Glenoaks Boulevard, 1500 block--Burglars apparently used a crowbar to pry open the door of a business at 11:45 p.m. Sept. 4. Seven new computers in boxes, valued at $36,100, were stolen. South Adams Street, 500 block--A man posing as a home health care worker stole $75 in cash from a retired couple in an apartment at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 5. Sonora Avenue, 600 block--Thieves smashed the glass door of a business between Sept. 5 and 7 and stole computer equipment, valued at more than $14,800. A burglar alarm failure was being investigated. La Canada Flintridge Daleridge Road, 4700 block--Two silver and crystal candleholders, valued together at $1,000, were stolen from a house between June 29 and Sept. 1. Vista Canyada Place, 5500 block--A house was burglarized between Aug. 21 and 31 while the occupant was on vacation. Coins valued at $900 and jewelry valued at $10,000 were reported stolen. Atwater Village Larga Avenue, 3300 block--Burglars apparently used a screwdriver to unlock a house and steal money and jewelry, valued at $1,895, between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Sept. 3. Eagle Rock Campus Road, 1800 block--Four men in a car pointed a semiautomatic handgun at another motorist at 10 p.m. Aug. 31 and forced the victim to hand over $115 cash. Colorado Boulevard, 2800 block--A man snatched a woman’s purse, valued at $215, from her shoulder as she walked through a department store at 10:40 a.m. Aug. 31. Colorado Boulevard, 2600 block--A person in a parking facility was accosted by two men and robbed of jewelry and car, valued together at $3,828, at 5:10 p.m. Sept. 1. Eagle Rock Boulevard, 4900 block--Thieves broke into a business on Sept. 1 or 2, and stole money and cigarettes valued together at $13,121. Mont Eagle Place, 4400 block--Burglars entered a house through an open window and stole money and jewelry, valued together at $5,875, between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sept. 3. Colorado Boulevard, 2200 block--A person using an automatic teller machine was robbed at gunpoint of $70 at 8 a.m. Sept. 5. Glassell Park San Fernando Road and Arvia Street--Two men armed with a gun robbed a person in a wheelchair of money and documents, valued at $1,715, at 2:15 p.m. Sept. 2. Division Street, 3300 block--Jewelry valued at $4,140 was stolen and a house ransacked between 7 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Sept. 4. Echo Park Sunset Boulevard, 2100 block--Burglars broke the front door of a business and stole supplies valued at $1,200 between Aug. 30 and Sept. 1. Elysian Park Drive, 1600 block--A man leaving his car at 9:15 p.m. Sept. 1 was confronted by two gunmen who fled with money and jewelry valued together at $1,390. Liberty Street, 1300 block--Burglars smashed classroom windows at a private school and stole computer equipment and other goods, valued at $1,000, on Sept. 2 or 3. Liberty Street, 1300 block--Burglars smashed a church skylight to gain entrance and stole computer equipment valued at $2,500 on Sept. 4 or 5. Figueroa Street, 900 block--Two men grabbed a woman’s purse and money, valued together at $300, at 5 p.m. Sept. 4. Highland Park York Boulevard, 6200 block--Two men armed with a handgun robbed the a supermarket of $51,000 cash at 7:45 a.m. Sept. 1. El Paso Drive, 800 block--Money and jewelry valued at $11,300 were stolen from a house between 8:30 and 10:15 a.m. Sept. 2. Meridian Street, 6000 block--A stereo and clothing, valued at $1,070, were stolen from a house between 7:40 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 3. North Avenue 47, 1400 block--Occupants of a house reported that $7,900 was stolen on Sept. 5 or 6. Los Feliz North Vermont Avenue, 1700 block--Two men entered a bank at 4:25 p.m. Aug. 31, ordered everyone to the floor and took $18,557. Russell Avenue, 4400 block--A stereo and video equipment valued at $1,050 were stolen from a house between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sept. 1. Hillhurst Avenue, 1700 block--Burglars stole money and a TV valued at $1,400 from a fast-food restaurant on Sept. 2 or 3. Sunset Boulevard and Fountain Avenue--Three men jumped from a car and snatched a necklace, valued at $350, from a woman’s neck at 3 p.m. Sept. 4. Hillhurst Avenue, 2000 block--Thieves smashed a window to enter a liquor store on Sept. 4 or 5. Cigarettes valued at $13,000 were reported stolen. Hillhurst Avenue, 1700 block--Thieves smashed a window to gain entrance to a fast-food restaurant on Sept. 4 or 5. Money and other property valued at $1,120 were reported stolen. Hillhurst Avenue, 2000 block--Thieves broke the window of a liquor store and stole cigarettes valued at $3,500 at 7:10 a.m. Sept. 6. Police were investigating possible connections among the crimes on Hillhurst, but no arrests have been made. North Vermont Avenue, 1500 block--Burglars pried open the door of a fast-food restaurant on Sept. 4 or 5 and stole property valued at $2,700. Riverside Drive, 2900 block--Burglars forced open a window to enter a motel room. The premises were ransacked and money and technical instruments, valued at $3,190, were stolen between 3 and 4 a.m. Sept. 6. Silver Lake Hyperion Avenue, 1900 block--Art objects valued at $2,000 were stolen from a business at 5:20 a.m. Aug. 31. Sunset Boulevard, 2500 block--A man posing as a cigarette peddler robbed a market clerk of $450 cash at 11:15 a.m. Sept. 1.
