Jefferson 44, Jordan 6--Running back Isaac Hatley ran for 141 yards in 10 carries and scored three touchdowns as Jefferson beat Jordan in a Southeastern Conference game.

Jefferson backup quarterback Ed Morse, replacing ailing Marcus Johnson, completed eight of 14 passes for 125 yards and returned three punts for 146 yards. Jefferson’s defense forced six turnovers and held Jordan to 36 yards passing.

Domingo Maldonado rushed for 101 in eight carries and Earl Jordon had 77 yards in 13 carries for Jordan. The game was interrupted when a bench-clearing brawl broke out with four minutes left in the game.

Records: Jordan 0-3; Jefferson 2-2.
