The Feuding Tombs of Christopher Columbus: Where is Christopher Columbus buried? This new documentary examines the question that has perplexed scientists and scholars for centuries and caused a dispute between historical academies of Spain and the Dominican Republic, Sunday at 7 and 10 p.m., the Discovery Channel.

Columbus: The World’s First Astronaut: Martin Sheen hosts this special, which juxtaposes film clips from the new Gerard Depardieu film “1492: Conquest of Paradise” and footage of U.S. astronauts’ space journeys, Monday at 4:35 p.m. on TBS.

Columbus’ Magnificent Voyage: A three-hour documentary sets sail aboard replicas of the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria to explore Columbus’ legacy of civilizations found and lost and to examine his impact on the old and new West, Sunday at 8 p.m. KCET and KPBS and 9 p.m. KVCR; repeats Thursday at 1 p.m. on KPBS.

We Think the World Is Round: Animated special tells the story of Columbus’ voyage from the ships’ point of view. Cesar Romero, Janis Paige and Sidney Miller supply the voices of the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria, Monday at 4:30 a.m., the Disney Channel.

Christopher Columbus: Repeat of the 1985 CBS miniseries starring Irish actor Gabriel Bryne as the legendary Italian explorer. Faye Dunaway, Oliver Reed and Max Von Sydow also star. Part I: Monday at 9 p.m. and midnight; Part II, Tuesday at 9 p.m. and midnight, the Disney Channel.

Columbus and the Age of Discovery: Encore of seven-part 1991 series about the life and legacy of Christopher Columbus, Thursday at 8 p.m., KCET.
