Proposed sanctions being considered by Arizona State University would impose a minimum one-year suspension on athletes who commit felonies. The penalties proposed by a nine-member university committee also include lesser penalties--reprimand, probation, suspension and reduction of athletic financial aid--for violations of university policies.
