Nurse Practitioners Are the Rx for Health Care
“The Family Nurse” (Oct. 6) enlightened us when we most need to know alternatives to the mire of the medical system.
While the MDs practice abuse of power, the nurse practitioner is providing the care doctors used to provide. It comes as no surprise to read that the medical Establishment will close ranks and defend what they believe to be their right to dictate to us without regard to the basic human need for inclusion in our own health-care decisions.
Physicians have abdicated their right to care for all but the most critical patients.
