Man’s Body Found in Middle of Freeway
The California Highway Patrol on Sunday was investigating the death of an unidentified man whose body was found in the middle of the Golden State Freeway near the Castaic Junction.
The body was discovered Saturday morning in the southbound lanes of the freeway just north of Backer Road, Officer Deborah Pierce said. Pierce said investigators did not know how or when the man died. His body was found in the second lane from the center divider.
