Man Found Dead on Pacoima Street

A 34-year-old Pacoima man was discovered fatally shot on a Pacoima sidewalk Sunday, police said.
Neighbors in the 13500 block of Desmond Street reported hearing shots shortly after 1:30 p.m., Los Angeles Police Detective Jim Boissier said. Officers discovered a man with multiple gunshot wounds in his upper body lying on the sidewalk. The man, whose identity was withheld pending notification of relatives, was pronounced dead at the scene, Boissier said.
There were no witnesses to the shooting, and the motive is unknown, Boissier said. An investigation is continuing.
