WESTMINSTER — A 3-year-old girl was rescued from her family’s back-yard pool Sunday after a frantic neighbor reported seeing the child floating face down in the water, authorities said.
The child, identified as Morgan Dague, was reportedly in stable condition at Humana Hospital-Huntington Beach.
Westminster Fire Capt. Bill Carter said paramedics treated the child at her Sunside Avenue house before rushing her to the hospital. Carter said a neighbor alerted the girl’s father that Morgan was floating in the pool. The father, whose name was not immediately available, administered artificial respiration to his child after plucking her from the pool.
