Countywide : Veterans Day
Wednesday is Veterans Day. Some institutions will be closed in observance of the holiday:
County, state and federal offices. City offices, with the exception of those in Brea, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Los Alamitos, Tustin, Villa Park and Westminster, will also be closed.
Schools in the Orange and Tustin unified school districts will be closed. All others will be open.
County, state and federal courthouses.
County and city libraries, except in Newport Beach.
Banks and some savings and loans.
MAIL: There will be no mail pick-up or delivery, but mail dropped at a post office will be posted.
TRASH: Trash will be picked up according to regular schedule throughout the county.
OCTD: Orange County Transit District buses will run on regular schedule, with dial-a-ride and car-pool services available.
