Gas Prices

Share

I just returned from a vacation. The price of gas here really raised my blood pressure. I bought gas in Georgia for 92.9 cents per gallon, in Missouri for 98.9, Oklahoma for 112.9, and New Mexico for 114.9. The closer I came to California, the higher the price. Gas here now is 130.9 and up. I read in your paper a spokesman for the AQMD said “the public will not mind paying a penny or two more a gallon to cut down on smog.” He is right about the penny or two, but 30 cents a gallon? The public is being taken to the cleaners. OPEC is pumping so much oil the world is awash in it. The price of oil is down, but gas at the pump keeps going up.

Another thing people should notice (as I did), gas mileage drops (5 miles a gallon in my case) under the new formula.
